About the Company

Our client has an opportunity for an experienced Business Development professional to join them selling their SaaS solution to a range of public sector clients. The company is based in Milton Keynes but the role will be based at home at least 4 days per week with ideally one day per week in the office

About the Role

Their products result in a significant change for their clients and therefore the sales process involves a consultative process which looks at not only understanding what they provide, but more importantly what their potential clients are looking to achieve.

As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for the full sales process; from lead identification and generation, presentation / product demonstration, though to bid and proposal writing.

The Role
• Undertaking sales presentations to prospective new clients
• Undertaking product demonstration to prospective new clients
• Business case / bid / proposal development
• Reporting on sales performance against target
• Lead identification and generation
• Attending conferences and exhibitions

The Person
• Experience in complex solution sales
• A clear communicator with excellent presentation skills
• A creative approach to problem solving
• Ability to quickly build strong relationships with senior level staff
• Outstanding networking skills
• Highly consultative approach
• Proactive and focussed outlook

The Salary
The salary is between £45,000-£55,000 per annum and an additional £20-£30K OTE although it is uncapped
